2 c. sugar ½ c. butter (soft) 1 c. Crisco shortening 2 eggs ½ c. molasses **** cream together 4 c. flour 3 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. ground allspice *** sift together
Mix all together until well blended. Roll dough in your palm into small balls the size of a walnut. Roll the balls in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
