1 cup onion, diced
2 cups celery, diced
Saute in 1 cup margarine or butter; pour over 12 cups dry bread, mix and add:
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp sage
½ tsp pepper
4 cups chicken broth
2 eggs, beaten

Mix. Put in crockpot. Cook on high for 45 minutes. Reduce and cook 5-8 hours longer. Tip: I did it in 6 ½ hours!
