1/2 cup butter
1 + 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 squares chocolate (or 6 tbsps. cocoa)
1/2 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add the well beaten eggs and sour milk into which the baking soda has been dissolved).
Now add the flour and vanilla.

Melt the chocolate + stir it into the boiling water.
When the mixture is smooth, stir it into the cake batter.

Bake in two layers and put together with cream filling.

Chocolate cream filling: Boil the sugar, water + chocolate together for 10 minutes.
1 cup sugar Add the corn starch which has been dissolved in a little cold water.
1 cup water Add the butter and boil until the starch is cooked.
2 squares chocolate Add the vanilla and spread before it cools.
3 tsps. corn starch
1 tsp butter
vanilla to flavor
