Mom's Famous Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Recipe

2 cups of rhubarb chunks cut up (or more)
1 pint of strawberries
A squirt of lemon juice
3/4 cup of sugar
Foolproof crust recipe

Mascerate (allow to soften) strawberries and rhubarb together with a llittle sugar and flour for about 10 minutes (not until it's watery).
Pierce rhubarb to make sure it's soft enough.
Add the rest of the ingredients
Roll the crust out (see Foolproof crust recipe)

Put bottom crust in plate (roll bottom crust thicker and top crust thinner)
Put mix into bottom crust.
Put 4-5 slabs of butter on top and put the top crust on.
Seal so juice won't come up.
Prick top of crust with fork
sprinkle top with milk.

Bake at 400 40-50 minutes
