3 170g packages semi sweet chocolate chips
1 can condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
Finely chopped nuts, flaked , chocolate sprinkles, coloured sprinkles, unsweetened cocoa, or coloured sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with condensed milk. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Shape into 1.5 cm (3/4 inch) balls, roll in any of the suggested coatings. Chill 1 hour or until firm. Store covered at room temperature.

Option: Creamy Chocolate Rum Truffles

Omit vanilla. Stir 50 ml (1/4 cp) dark rum and 2 ml (1/2 tsp) rum extract into melted chocolate mixture. Chill. Shape and roll in flaked coconut. Proceed as above.
