1 small head cabbage
1 tbs butter
2 tbs finely chopped shallots
1 tbs honey
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 cp dry white wine
12 slices bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Using sharp knife, cut cabbage into 6 equal wedges. In large sauce pot bring water to boil. Plunge cabbage into water to boil. Plunge cabbage into water, 1-2 minutes or until leaves are slightly soft. Drain. Arrange in 9" square baking pan. In small saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter. Add shallots, cook 2-3 minutes stirring frequently until soft. Stir in honey, celery seed, salt & pepper. Remove from heat. Stir in wine. Pour over cabbage. Cover and bake 50 minutes. Place 2 bacon slices crosswise over each wedge. Return to oven. Bake uncovered 20-30 minutes longer or until bacon is crisp and cabbage is tender and lightly browned.
