1 Cup Softened Butter.................................................2-¼ Cups Flour
½ Cup Powdered Sugar..............................................¼ tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla.................................................................¾ Cup Finely Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400º. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together. Shape into 1" balls and roll into colored sugar before baking, or powdered sugar after baking. Bake for 10-12 minutes. For Variety, put a chocolate kiss or a caramel in the center.
