1½ lbs. pork spareribs
flour
salt and pepper
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup water
¼ cup vinegar
¾ cup ketchup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge pork spare ribs with flour, salt and pepper and fry quickly in a little oil until cooked through and crisp on the outside, about 10 minutes. Mix together water, brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup and soy sauce. Pour over the meat and let simmer covered for one hour. Thicken with 2 tbsps. cornstarch.
