1 whole fryer
2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp oil
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup onion
1 (4 oz) can green chilies (Ortega type)
3/4 cup chicken broth
2 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp water
1/2 cup sour cream (at room temp)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up the fryer (or buy chicken parts).
Mix together the chili powder; cayenne; cumin and salt.
Rub the outside of the chicken with the chili powder mix.
Heat the oil in a heavy skillet or Dutch oven, brown chicken on all sides.
Add the garlic (chopped); onion, green chilies and broth.
Cover and simmer for 35 to 45 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the pot, set aside.
Blend the flour and water together, add to sauce in pot.
Cook stirring until thick, add the sour cream, return the chicken to the pan to heat through.
Serve!
