4 cups cooking apples
1½ tbsps. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
¼ cup water
1 cup Quaker oats, uncooked
⅓ cup all purpose flour
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp. salt
⅓ cup butter or margarine, salted

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a greased shallow 9" square baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, brown sugar and water. Combine remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl; add melted butter, mixing until crumbly. Sprinke crumb mixture on top of the apples. Bake 375ºF for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. 8 servings.
