12 Hard Rolls
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1- 10 oz can condensed tomato soup
1.5 # lean hamburger
2 T butter
2 clove garlic, minced or use garlic powder or garlic salt
2 egg- slightly beaten
1 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp pepper or to taste

Cut Hard Rolls in half and pull out bread crumbs until somewhat hollow. Save breadcrumbs in mixing bowl and soften with tomato soup and beaten egg.
In medium fry pan melt 1-2 T butter and fry onion and pepper until softened. Add garlic to soften. Add hamburger and fry until browned and cooked through. Drain if necessary.
Add drained hamburger mixture to softened bread crumb mixture. Add seasonings. Cool

Add mixture to 24 Hard Roll 1/2s and put together to make 12 rolls. Wrap in foil and freeze.
When ready to eat, preheat oven to 350º. Take out amount of rolls wanted for the meal and bake for 45 minutes- take off foil and bake 15 minutes more to crisp bread. Makes 12 rolls
Great for make ahead harvest meals.
( Original recipe called for 1 cup soup but using the whole can worked fine.)
