10 bagels (dried out works best) cut into bite sized pieces
2 c. raisins
4 c. half and half
1 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cut up bagels with 4 cups of half and half (make sure all pieces soak up moisture). Set aside.

Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg in a separate bowl and mix together. Add beaten eggs and vanilla to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Pour egg mixture into the bagels and milk. Gently fold until egg mixture is incorporated. Pour into a buttered 9 X 14 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 min. or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Drizzle icing of your choice over the top after cooled and enjoy! Serve warm or cold with milk or ice cream.
