2 t soy sauce
2 T oyster sauce
1/4 t sesame oil
1/2 t salt
1/4 t sugar
dash white pepper

2 T oil for wok
1 slice ginger
1 garlic

Cook lettuce for 2 minutes.

We used to get HUGE bags, maybe 5 pounds, of shredded lettuce from Panhandle Salvage, for 50 cents, before they went out of business. I had to come up with a delicious way to eat a lot of lettuce, fast. This dish fit the bill perfectly. It's amazing how good cooked lettuce is.
