4 large ears corn
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 cup half and half cream
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place corn in a large saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and continue cooking corn 10 minutes. Drain. When corn ears are cool enough to handle, remove kernels from husks being careful not to cut into husks. Prepare cream sauce. Melt butter in a 2 quart saucepan. Stir in flour making sure flour and butter are well blended. Gradually add half and half cream stirring constantly to prevent lumping. Continue cooking sauce until it has thickened. Add salt and pepper and mix well. Stir corn kernels into cream sauce.
