2 c granulated sugar
2 c brown sugar
1 c light corn syrup
2 c evaporated milk
1/2 c margarine or butter (Jelke)
4 sq bitter chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over a low flame. Stir constantly until it reaches hard ball stage (248º). Remove from fire. Pour into a square pan which has been generously spread with GOOD LUCK margarine. When cool mark into squares. Allow candy to become firm. Cut into squares and wrap in waxed paper. makes 6 dozen caramels.
