⅓ cup peanut oil or melted shortening
⅔ cup water
1 cup matzo meal
3 eggs
1 tsp. sugar
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place water and oil in saucepan and heat.
When boiling BRISKLY, add matzo meal all at once, stirring vigorously with wooden spoon.
REMOVE FROM HEAT.
When cool, add salt, sugar, and beat in one egg at a time.
Continue beating until mixture is thick and smooth.
Shape in balls and place on greased baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes in hot oven (425-450ºF).
Then bake in reduced heat (350ºF) for another 20-25 minutes.
