1 stick butter or margarine, soft
⅓ cup oil (corn or Crisco brand)
1 heaping Tbsp Crisco vegetable shortening
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. anise extract
6 eggs, beaten until fluffy
4 Tbsp. baking powder
4 - 4½ cups flour

Directions:

1. Cream shortening, add sugar and flavoring.
2. Add egss. Add baking powder.
3. Add flour one cup at a time, just enough that dough is firm.
4. Put on cookie sheet, press down slightly (balls). Bake at 350ºF for 12 minutes.

1 box confectioner's sugar
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract

When cookies are slightly cool, cover with frosting (will drip) and add sprinkles if desired.
