6 medium onions
2 tbs margarine or butter
2 c stock
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp bottled condiment sauce
1/8 tsp celery salt
Speck of pepper
6 - 8 rounds white bread
3/4 c grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice onions. Saute in butter until light brown. Add the stock and seasonings. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt casserole or 6 - 8 individual casseroles. Place 6 to 8 rounds of bread on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake uncovered in a moderate oven of 350º until the cheese is melted and well browned, or brown under a low broiler.
