Crust:
c Margarine (soft)
1 Egg Yolk
2 Tbsp Water
1 c Flour
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Baking Powder
6 oz Chocolate Bits
6 oz Butterscotch Bits

Topping:
2 Eggs
c Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
6 Tbsp margarine, melted
2 c Chopped Nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Crust:
Beat margarine, egg yolk, and water at medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Sift dry ingredients and mix with margarine mixture to form dough. Divide dough in half and press firmly and evenly into two 8x8-inch greased pans. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. While crust is baking, prepare topping.

Remove pans from oven and sprinkle chocolate bits in one pan and the butterscotch bits in other pan. Return pans to oven for 2 minutes. Remove and spread melted bits in each pan.

Topping:
Beat eggs at high speed until thick. Beat in sugar. Add margarine, vanilla, and nuts and blend. After melted bits have been spread, pour half of egg mixture into each pan and spread over top. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. When cool, cut into squares. Each pan will yield 16 bars.
