2 lbs top round steak
6 tbs flour
3 tbs fat -- butter or shortening
1/2 onion, chopped
1 can mushroom soup
1 c hot water
6 medium sized potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Pound flour into steak. Cut into serving pieces. Brown in 3 tbs hot fat. Season with salt and pepper and onion. Mix water with soup. Pour over steak, cover and simmer 1 hr. The last half hour add potatoes.
