1 qt cucumbers
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 tbs salt
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbs pickling spice
Vinegar to cover

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice cucumbers
Remove seeds from pepper, cut into small thin slices.
Peel and slice onions.
Sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight, then drain.
Add other ingredients.
Cook until tender.
Pour into sterile jars and seal.
Process in boiling water bath 16 min.
