1 c lima beans
2 c milk
1 c water
1 bay leaf
2 tbs butter
1 tbs flour
1 small onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the onion and brown in butter; add the flour; stir until smooth and brown.
Add the water, bay leaf, and beans.
Cook 20 min or until the beans are soft.
Press through a sieve.
Scald the milk, add the beans and cook until thickened.
Season and serve.
