75 ml. (⅓ cup) butter or margarine
125 ml. ( cup) corn syrup
250 ml. (1 cup) brown sugar)
30 ml. (2 Tbsp.) carob or cocoa
5 ml. (1 Tsp.) vanilla
2 L. (8 cups) Puffed Wheat

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan.
Add the syrup, sugar and cocoa.
When this syrup begins to bubble (about 2 minutes), remove from heat.
Add vanilla. Stir and pour over the puffed wheat and mix until evenly coated.
Press into a buttered 13" x 9" pan. Press down firmly.
When completely cool, turn out onto a cutting board to avoid scoring your pan.
Cut into squares.

** If you don't care for chocolate, just omit it and it will be a pale yellow color.
