Fudge Frosting Recipe

cup evaporated milk
1 cups brown sugar
4 tablespoon butter
Cooking over medium heat in sauce pan to temperature of 235 or approximately 4-5 minutes.
Stop cooking: pour into mixing bowl and add:

4 tablespoons butter
cup evaporated milk.
Mix in stand mixer until incorporated.

Cool further for approximately 15 minutes or temperature of 130

8 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix on low until chocolate melted.

Add 3 cups powdered sugar all at once and mix on low until incorporated ( 3 minutes)

Cool to 80 or about 1 hour. Will be fudge consistency.

Return to mixer and beat on medium to turn into frosting consistency.

Frost cake.

Cool in refrigerator to set frosting.
