Ingredients:  
1/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 c fine dry crumbs
4 tart apples, pared and diced
3 tbs butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt, and crumbs.
Put in layer of crumbs in greased baking dish.
Cover with layer of apples.
Sprinkle with sugar crumb mixture.
Continue until all ingredients are used.
Have a layer of crumbs on top.
Pour melted butter over crumbs.
Cover dish.
Bake in moderate oven, 375, 40 minutes.
Remove cover the last 10 minutes to brown top.
