3 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup white syrup
21/2 - 3 cups peanuts


1 tbs butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water, sugar and syrup together to a good boil and cook 3 min in a heavy pan with lid on pan. Remove lid and cook until 232 degrees and add peanut. Cook 3-5 min stirring all the time.
Then add butter, vanilla, salt and soda.
Pour out on marble top and spread as much as you can . Take a pancake turner to loosen the edges. Then turn peanut brittle over and stretch. Butter hands due to heat of the brittle.
