c butter, softened
c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt

2 T sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 2 T sugar and cinnamon; roll balls in mixture. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Immediately remove from baking sheet.
