3/4 Cups Shortening
1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3 Cups Oatmeal-uncooked
1 Cup Flour

For variety;
Add Corn Flakes 3 Cups.
Add chopped nuts 1 Cup.
Add raisins 1 1/2 Cups.
Add chocolate chips 2 Cups.
Add coconut 2 Cups.
Directions:

Preheat oven 350*
Beat together shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla till creamy.
Add dry ingredients, mix well.
Drop by teaspoon size on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350* for 12 - 15 minutes.
