½ cup butter flavor Crisco
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º.
2. Cream together shortening and sugars.
3. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well, then add pudding mix.
4. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
5. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
6. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake 8-10 minutes.
