Ingredients:  
1 cup persimmon pulp, it's also really good with peaches.
1 cup nuts, I use walnuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in pulp
2 cups flour, I use 1/2 pastry or cake flour and 1/2 all purpose flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and egg. Add pulp mix then mix in dry ingredients. Mix well so it's creamy.
I drop by 1/4 or 1/2 cup full, makes large cookies. Make them any size you like, if smaller, cooks less time.
Bake at 350 F for 15 - 20 minutes. These are soft and yummy.

Have been making these for over 40 years. Got it from a farmer outside of Marysville, Ca. who owned a
peach orchard and persimmons.
