1 cup pecan halves
1 cup almonds
8 cups popped corn
1⅓ cups sugar
1 cup butter
½ cup corn syrup
½ tsp crème of tartar
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix almonds and pecans with popcorn in a large buttered bowl. In a dutch oven, combine sugar, butter, syrup and crème of tartar. Cook until the hard ball stage. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn and nuts and mix until well coated, Turn out onto a buttered pan. Cool. Break into pieces.
