1 cup scalded milk
1/2 cups shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 pkg dry yeast dissolve in 1/4 cups warm water
3 eggs beaten
4 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk , shortening,sugar and salt. Cool to 80 degrees. Add yeast, stir well. Add eggs and flour. Knead lightly. Placed in greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Knead down and roll out on floured board about 1/2 inch in thickness,. Spread with softened shortening , cinnamon, sugar and raisins and roll up. Snip slashes with scissors through roll and place in large greasedpie dish to raise again. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min ice and sprinkle with nuts.
