1 cup granulated sugar
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
4 Tablespoons Strawberry Jello--small box
1 cup boiling water
1 pound or more of fresh strawberries

Directions:

Sir well and heat above ingredients until a rolling boil.

Let cool.

Place whole fresh berries in baked pie shell.

Pour cooled mixture over berries.

Chill 3-4 hours.

Janie and Orie were my youth directors when I was in high school. I did a summer internship with Orie's church in San Bernardino, California, when I was a junior at Grace University.

This pie was also a favorite of Grandpa's.
