1 tomato - chopped
- onion - chopped
lb. ground beef
lb. ground turkey (or ground pork)
c. uncooked rice
3 tbsp. flour
1 egg
Salt and pepper and seasoning salt if desired

For sauce:
1 large tomato
medium onion
An additional handful of rice
1 or 2 sliced squash
1 sliced carrot
1 or 2 quartered potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together for meatballs, making 1 inch balls. Add to boiling sauce.

Blend tomato and onion in blender with a little water, fry in some oil in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Add a little more tomato sauce for color and some oregano to taste. Add meatballs to boiling sauce. Let simmer about one hour.
