¼ lb. American cheese, chopped
1½ c. thin white sauce
2 c. cooked macaroni
1½ c. chopped, cooked ham
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
½ c. buttered bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Add cheese to white sauce and stir until cheese is melted. Put 1 cup cooked macaroni in bottom of a buttered 9x9 casserole dish. Sprinkle evenly with ¾ cup ham, cover with egg slices and pour ½ cheese sauce. Repeat layer of ingredients. Cover with buttered bread crumbs and bake in 350º oven for about 30 minutes until brown and bubbly.

A friend gave me this recipe over 50 years ago. Nice way to use leftover ham and it's comfort food .
