1 lb cooked bacon or loose sausage
½ lb shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bread, buttered
12-18 eggs
1 ¼ c milk
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 13 x 9 pan. Spread bread, buttered side down, into pan.
Place broken bacon or sausage on top of bread, then cheese.
Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over bread.
Refrigerate overnight. Let stand at room temperature a few minutes before baking.

Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350º until browned and puffy.
