2 sticks butter, softened
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until fluffy.
Add sugar, 2 Tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add eggs one at a time. Beat well.
Add sour cream and vanilla, Beat well.
Sift 3 cups flour. Remeasure flour into sifter. Dsicard excess. Add soda and sift two more times.
Add flour (small amount at a time) and beat well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325º for 90 minutes or until well done.
