3 eggs
1½ cups sugar
1 cup Wessant Oil
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 can junior size baby food prunes
1 cup walnuts (optional)

Sauce:
1 cup white sugar
½ cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon white karo syrup
½ cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and oil; add eggs, milk and dry ingredients. Add vanilla, prunes and nuts.
Bake at 300º for 1 hour.
Prepare sauce by add all ingredients and boil for 1 minute. Pour over cake.
