1 Corned Beef Brisket or Daisy Ham
1 Carrot per person
1 Potato per person
2 Celery stalks
1 Onion, quartered
1 small to medium cabbage cored and quartered
or
1-2 packages of frozen brussel sprouts

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in large 5qt pot of water. Bring to boil. Skim the scum. Add flavor packet to a spice ball or tied cheese cloth and throw in pot. Add carrots, onion and celery. Simmer 50minutes to a pound. It's done when fork inserted comes out easily.

Remove meat and wrap in foil. Remove vegetable and keep warm in bowl Add peeled potatoes and cabbage cook until tender.

Uncle Jack was Irish and he and Aunt Jane would come to the house for this around St Patrick's Day.

Before Daisy Ham got expensive Mom liked to make this with that meat every once in a while.
