2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 sticks butter, divided
10 tbsp. cocoa powder, divided
1 c. water
½ c. buttermilk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla, divided
4 tbsp. milk
14oz. box powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.

For the Cake:
In a large bowl mix together flour and sugar and set aside. In a saucepan, add two sticks butter, four tablespoons cocoa powder and water. Bring to a boil and pour over the flour mixture and stir. Then add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and one teaspoon vanilla. Pour into prepared glass pan.

Bake 20 minutes in a preheated oven.

For Icing:
While cake is in oven, melt one stick butter, six tablespoons cocoa powder and four tablespoons milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir in powdered sugar and mix well. Remove from heat and add one teaspoon vanilla. Stir and pour over hot cake.
