3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
3 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/4 tsp peppermint extract

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan over low heat melt butter and chocolate
Stir in sugar until blended well. Gradually stir in evaporated milk
Cook over medium heat ,stirring constantly until mixture comes to boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract
Pour into jars, cover and store in refrigerator (can be kept for up to 6 weeks)
Before serving, warm in suace pan over low heat. Serve over ice cream or cake
