¾ cup evaporated milk
2 ¼ cups granulated sugar
12 ounce package Nestle Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
½ cup Karo syrup-(red label)
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts, optional












Directions:
Directions:
Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Turn heat to low; cook 10 minutes.

Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, Karo syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir until chocolate melts and fudge is smooth and creamy. Stir in nuts if using.

Pour into buttered pan and chill in refrigerator 1-2 hours.
