Bars:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Frosting:

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Beat in the egg, peanut butter and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture, mix well.
Spread in a buttered 12 x 9" baking pan, bake for 20 - 25 minutes (do not over bake).
Let bars cool while you make the frosting

Frosting:

Combine the butter, milk and sugar in a saucepan, bring to a boil.
Remove from heat, stir in the chocolate chips. Stir and cool until thickened.
Frost cooled bars, cut into whatever size you want.
