2 cups bulgur
1 chopped onion
1/2 stick butter
2 cups chicken broth
2 fresh tomatoes finely chopped or 1 can tomatoes/drained and chopped
1.5 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1.5 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Saute 1 c chopped onion or 1 TJ package in 1/2 stick butter
Add finely peeled and chopped 2 fresh tomatoes or 1/2 can diced tomatoes (drained)
Keep sauteing
Add 1 can or 2 cups chicken broth and 1.5 cups water and 1.5 teaspoon salt and 1/2 t pepper
Bring to a boil, add rinsed 2 cups bulgur, lower temp to med high, once bubbles start, lower temp to low and close lid for 20 min.
Turn off after 20 min, let sit for another 10-20 min.
Make sure you stir from bottom up the bulgur before serving.
