2½-3 lbs. Chicken pieces (legs, thighs, breasts), skinned
½ cup flour
¼ cup olive or vegetable oil
2 cups onion, thin sliced
½ cup chopped green pepper
1 lb. can whole tomatoes
1 3 oz, can of sliced and drained mushrooms
1 can tomato sauce
½ cup dry white wine
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
½ bay leaf
⅛ tsp. marjoram
2 clove garlic, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, cut up, skin, and pat chicken dry. Coat chicken with flour. Sauté chicken pieces in the oil 15-20 minutes until brown. Remove chicken and set aside. Put onion, green pepper and garlic in pan and cook until peppers are tender. Drain off grease. Add the remaining ingredients. Add chicken. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.
