1 lb Bacon, finely chopped
2 medium Onions, chopped
6 Garlic cloves, minced
2 Cups Chicken broth
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
4 15 oz cans Black Beans, drained (not rinsed)
Kosher Salt & Black Pepper
1 Bunch Cilantro, chopped
Sliced Scallions
Sour Cream

Directions:

Put bacon in large pot and place over medium heat. Cook until it starts to give up it's fat, 4 minutes. Stir in onions and cook, stirring, until they start to turn translucent, 4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the broth, tomatoes, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder. Stir in the beans, turn up the heat to medium-high and bring to a boil. Adjust the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in chipped cilantro, cook 5 minutes longer. Garnish with scallions and sour cream.©
