1 POUND MEDIUM SHRIMP, ( PEELED & CLEANED)
1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
1/4 CUP CHOPPED GREEN PEPPER
2 CLOVES GARLIC, CRUSHED
1 TABLESPOON VEGETABLE OIL
1 CAN, (16 OUNCES), WHOLE CHOPPED TOMATOES, RESERVING LIQUID
1 CAN, (6 OUNCES), TOMATO PASTE
1 TEASPOON BASIL
1 TEASPOON OREGANO
1/8 TEASPOON CRUSHED RED PEPPER
COOKED PASTA

IN A TWO QUART SAUCE PAN, COOK ONION, GREEN PEPPER AND GARLIC IN OIL UNTIL TENDER.

ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES AND LIQUID, TOMATO PASTE, AND SEASONINGS. COVER AND SIMMER FOR 15 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.

ADD SHRIMP. COVER AND SIMMER APPROXIMATELY 3 MINUTES LONGER, UNTIL SHRIMP ARE PINK & FIRM.

SERVE OVER COOKED PASTA.
