1 tsp baking soda
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a cookie sheet. In a small bowl, dissolve the baking soda in the persimmon pulp.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add the egg and pulp. In a medium bowl, sift the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Fold in the nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake in a 350º oven for 15 minutes.
Make glaze and drizzle over cookies.
