Nana's Blackberry Pie Recipe

4-6 cups fresh blackberries
3 Pillsbury uncooked pie crusts
1 cups butter cut into pieces
1 cups sugar

*Any berries, frozen or fresh, can be substituted for this recipe.

Directions:
Directions:
Bake one pie crust at 425 for 10 minutes. Cool and break into pieces.
Combine berries, cup butter, cups sugar and of the cooked pie crust pieces. Spoon the mixture into an unbaked pie shell. Layer the remaining berries, butter, sugar and cooked pie crust pieces on top of the mixture. Put the last pie crust on top and seal and crimp the edges. Cut vents in the top crust for steam to escape.
Brush the top crust with butter and sugar if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature of the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
