1 3/4 c hot water
1 c oatmeal
1 c brown sugar
1 c sugar
1/2 c butter
2 large eggs or 3 medium
1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
salt
1 Tbsp cocoa

Topping
1/2 c chocolate chips
3/4 c chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Pour hot water over oatmeal - let stand about 10 minutes. Add both sugars and the butter. Add the eggs, stir and then add the remaining ingredients. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan and top with the the topping. Bake @ 350º for 30-40 minutes.
